Gasthaus zum Adler in Messkirch

Whenever I'm at home, which is rare because of the 500 km distance, I eat roast beef. Unfortunately, I don't get to try anything else. Because there is more on the menu that I would like to try. But the roast is unbeatable. Always my pleasure!

Simply excellent. When someone can cook and is passionate about it; then you can taste it too. A great restaurant, with a seasonal menu and local / regional ingredients straight from the farm. I had a Baden Württenburger with hash browns as a burger bun and a pork steak as a burger. It was extremely tasty and creative. Would also be cool to be able to eat like a burger .. or eg with flat mouthbags as buns :) Ambience and service are also great! We'll be back, I would look forward to an extended dessert menu :)

Nice location with several rooms inside the building and a large outdoor area. Very delicious food and friendly service staff at reasonable prices for food and drinks. Overall, definitely a recommendation and worth a visit!

The outdoor chairs are not very comfortable, a big compliment to the staff, our special requests (reorders) were great, the food is great 😘

The only inn in the wide area that was open on Tuesday. A lot going on. Hence the waiting time forever. One star minus. You could have said when I called. Food was homemade the sauce but finished and too spicy. Next star deduction. Service friendly but overloaded.

Actually I shouldn't give stars here ... :-) Otherwise it is always full when we come ... No seriously, very good to sit and eat ... The staff is also very good. Must be said. Thank you also for the glass. We will be back ....

The first inn that I was allowed to visit after the Corona loosening and was immediately surprised with super delicious dishes. Salad was super fresh and super delicious and the main course (asparagus ragout) literally knocked me off my feet. Price really very good salad: 5 € asparagus ragout 14 € Find the price appropriately. We recommend!

So where do I start with the two stars first? 1st star got this inn because of the nice atmosphere and the friendly service. 2nd star for how clean and well kept the toilets look. 3rd star is missing because it is just too expensive as can be seen on the picture my wife got this salad plate for a low 11 € this is how I think too much. Not only is it too expensive but this dish has just dripped with oil. My goulash with a tight 19 € is much too expensive, it tasted but it was also nothing special. For the price, it is not worth it in my opinion. Since you prefer to go to a discount store and get fresh fruit or go kebab food. 4th star is missing because the food did not taste like in the explanation of the third star my wife and I both tried the salad and then had stomach ache. 5th star is missing because we could have saved the trip there really. Conclusion I would recommend this inn only if you want to drink something there because these prices are almost everywhere the same. A big water 3.80 is as we find in order.

HERE IS EVERYTHING! We ate here for two and since the inn Adler enjoys a very good reputation for the food we have called and reserved. That was also important because it was almost fully booked and we got a seat in the beautifully situated beer garden. For children there is a small playground a small landscaped garden with rabbits. The food was very fast on the place after the order although a whole bus full of people came although constantly new people came and it was clear that was really busy. The waiters were both very friendly point in the order acceptance could explain to me the operation exactly the food and in which the differences are. When the food arrived we were very surprised how delicious and cooked with love. Also on request, the service is always very friendly. The obligatory dessert took a little bit longer which was due to the hungry people. But the taste has put everything away and we liked to be here and would love to come back. As a note, I would like to see the menu online

We are wading with the family for lunch today. Very friendly wait staff, very, very tasty food, decent portions and fair prices. The quality of the food was also very good. Here we come again I would say 😊
